Our founder Ms Greshma Pious Raju spoke at the panel discussion on Religion, Youth and Environment: A Global Response through Local Action at Faith Pavilion of COP 28 UAE on December 8th. She shared her experience of working with faith communities for climate actions. Earlier this year, Ecopeace organised and facilitated training programs and tree-planting events for young people. She mentioned the process of hosting such events and how those events encourage young people to take action.

Our Founder at G20 Interfaith Forum

Greshma Pious Raju, founder of Ecopeace Teen Cafe attended and spoke at G20 Interfaith Forum in Pune, India. She was one of the panellists at the Global Youth Peace Dialogue and Climate Action. The event was hosted at the MIT World Peace University, Pune.
Our Representation at Parliament of World Religions, Chicago
Ms Shirin Ganji, Regional Coordinator of Ecopeace North America, spoke at the prestigious Parliament of World Religions in Chicago on August 2023. She was one of the panellists at the panel discussion on the topic, ‘Fostering Inclusive Space in Today’s World.’
Drawing on both personal and organizational experiences from diverse individuals in leadership, the panel discussion focused on how inclusivity is fostered through grassroots efforts in today’s world where media, influence, and remote interactions take precedence over dialogue. Also, highlighted the significant elements and challenges of building community and how to overcome these roadblocks to build awareness, respect, and understanding.
