ECOPEACE GARDENS

The Earth Day celebration hosted by Ecopeace Family in collaboration with the Peace Department on April 22nd, 2024, marked a significant moment of unity and action in the local community. The event united individuals from diverse backgrounds to advocate for peace and climate action. The founder of Ecopeace Teen Cafe delivered a heartfelt address, setting the tone for an evening of inspiration and collaboration at the Ecopeace home. We launched an initiative called Ecopeace Garden as a remembrance of victims of all forms of violence. We invite all humans to participate in this initiative by nurturing a garden in your backyard and spreading the fragrance of peace in your communities.

CLIMATE ACTIONS THROUGH ROADS NOT TAKEN

Ecopeace Teen Cafe organised a one-day training programme on climate action titled “Climate Action Through the Roads Not Taken: The New Way of Environmental Peacebuilding” on March 25, 2023, at Punalur Social Service Society Hall, Punalur, Kollam. 

TREE PLANTING FOR THE FUTURE

On May 10, 2023, Ecopeace Teen Cafe in collaboration with Cosmic Community Center and Peace Department organised a tree planting event and intergenerational dialogue titled “ Tree Planting for the Future and Intergenerational Dialogue: Sharing the Stories of tree planting with Students” at Karickam International Public School, Kottarakkara, Kerala, India. 

Ecopeace Training Programs

Ecopeace Ambassadors program is for teenagers who wish to be changemakers for a better world. Our first cohort started on 2 October 2021 as a tribute to Mahatma Gandhi. This program consists of four modules community building, environment conservation, social justice and peace. This programme will be an opportunity to connect with international experts. We are creating a safe space for children to interact with others and build a sense of belongingness.

Ecopeace Teen Cafe trained hundreds of young people on topics like Climate Change and Coming Generations, Nonviolence Communication, and Equality for all. Our online programs conducted in Asia, Latin America, and Africa in English, Spanish and French.
