The Ecopeace Ambassadors Program is our flagship youth initiative designed to empower teenagers with the knowledge, skills, and global perspectives they need to build a peaceful and sustainable world. Supported by TPP, we successfully hosted a four-month online training program for young people across India, running from October to January.
Throughout this period, we organised weekly one-hour sessions every Saturday, featuring international experts who shared insights on climate action, peacebuilding, sustainability, and global citizenship.
In February, the journey culminated with the Ecopeace Global Summit, a dynamic global event featuring four panel discussions, an interfaith peace prayer, and interviews with peacebuilders from around the world. This summit brought together diverse voices and showcased the collective aspirations of young changemakers.
Program Goals
- Educate young people about the importance of protecting and restoring Earth’s ecosystems.
- Increase awareness about inequalities within societies and encourage empathy-driven leadership.
- Equip the younger generation with practical skills to build peace within their communities.
- Inspire young people to take meaningful action toward a sustainable and just future.
- Promote sustainable lifestyle practices and empower youth to incorporate them into daily life.
